The Birth Alarm is a simple yet reliable device. This monitoring system works on the principle that a mare will lie down at the outset of labor. When the system registers this state it will at once warn you. You can observe the entire process from beginning to end and intervene if necessary. This simple and convenient system consists of a sender and a receiver. The sender, which should be fixed to an anti-roll girth, is placed on the mare''s withers. Sender and girth do not bother the mare in any way. The alarm is activated by a liquid switch as soon as the sender registers the birth position. Receiver can be placed wherever desired and plugs into the mains. Maximum range is 500m. You can leave your mare with an easy mind. System comprises a sender and receiver.
